Adult Sculpting Classes

• Ages 18+

• Wednesdays -12:30 pm--2:30pm,

• 3:00 pm-5:00 pm, 7 pm-9:00 pm.

• $100 / month for 4 classes

• Materials not included.  Please speak with Elaine about the project scope and she can help you estimate your material costs.

Sculpting is a process of observing and bringing to clay what comes from inside to the outside. One of Elaine’s favorite activities is teaching others the skills in sculpture that she has learned through instructors and life experience.    She has taught countless students over a 25 year period.    All skill levels are welcome.  Several students have been sculptors in their own right but enjoy the environment and comradery of Elaine as a teacher.  Many students have never sculpted and profess they can’t even draw but somehow in a supportive environment of acceptance and instruction they make masterpieces that bring  joy of accomplishment.  “My goal is to teach a person through the developing of several sculptures until they have the confidence to just come back occasionally for a critique as they get stuck or just a congratulations as they succeed.” 

Ms. Bell believes sculpting to be a form of meditation by working through situations toward harmonious revelations of relationship and space.  Bell Sculpting Studio is located in Sandy, Utah..  Class size is no more than five students which makes for plenty of access to the teacher.
